Nerrad Tools bucks the market!

After a very promising start to 2020, Nerrad Tools, suppliers of hand tools to the plumbing and heating industry, was like many others seriously affected by significant slowdowns in sales in April and May. However, they have now reported a huge bounce back in sales for June and July, with an 80% increase over the same period last year. The revenue achieved in June and July is a record high for the 10 year old company, fully acquired in 2018 by Carl Kammerling International, owners of high-quality brands such as CK Tools and Kasp security.

The company attribute the increase in sales to the growing number of plumbing and heating professionals finding their products online and deciding to “give the brand a go”, being satisfied with the results and telling their friends and colleagues.

Nerrad Tools General Manager, Andrew Moore commented:

“ everyone within the company has pulled together and worked extremely hard over this difficult period, but as much as we were confident that we would recover from the downturn we saw in April, nobody expected the growth we had in June and July. We received a significant increase in orders from our online partners during this time which illustrates the demand is there from consumers for Nerrad products, and we are now working hard to support our merchant partners as they re-open their doors to customers”

The Nerrad sales team is now back on the road supporting existing stockists and ready and able to answer enquiries from potential new stockists who want to take advantage of the growing awareness among plumbing and heating professionals of the Nerrad brand.
